Inspector Tellini investigates a series of brutal murders where victims are paralyzed with a needle and eviscerated, mimicking the hunting style of a tarantula hawk wasp. The trail leads him to an exclusive health spa, a hub for illicit affairs and a sophisticated blackmail ring run by its owner. As suspects die under mysterious circumstances and the inspector's own marriage is compromised by secret surveillance, the pressure mounts. Tellini must decipher the connection between the victims before the masked assailant strikes again, turning the investigation into a personal battle for survival.
