Surprised to learn his wife, Angela, has invited their wall-shaking upstairs neighbors, Pina and Hawk, over for dinner tonight, East Bay music associate Joe braces himself for an uncomfortable evening. After all, it's a done deal; Angela has planned everything down to the last detail and expects an unforgettable night. They don't know it yet, but that's exactly what they'll get. As Joe tries to swallow his simmering antipathy for the ceiling-rattling couple, the doorbell rings, and there they are in his living room with their smarmy faces and a homemade present. So be it; tonight is as good a time as any for him to put them in their place, like naughty students. Instead, the invite takes an unexpectedly titillating turn when Pina and Hawk lay their cards on the table. Suddenly, the night looks very, very promising—if Joe and Angela can handle it, that is.
