In Southampton's elite summer world, Timothy Whalen serves as captain of a racing yacht owned by Granger Morrison while secretly entangled with Brooke Morrison. When Olivia Lawrence returns home after her mother's death, she is drawn into Timothy's orbit during a chance meeting at a party, leading to shared sailing outings on her late father's boat. Their connection deepens quickly despite the pressures of her controlling household under her stepfather Tony Gateworth. As tensions rise, hidden loyalties and financial leverage begin to shape the relationships around them, pulling Timothy and Olivia into a fragile and increasingly dangerous bond.
