Spanning the late 1960s through the 1980s, this family drama chronicles the lives of the Antonopoulos family after they leave Messenia for Athens in search of a better future. Guided by the memories of young Angelos, the series captures the changing face of Greece through the family's everyday experiences, tracing the country's social and cultural transformation from the years of the military dictatorship to the Metapolitefsi and beyond. As generations grow together under one roof, shifting customs, relationships, language, and the rise of Greek television become part of a nostalgic portrait of an era that shaped modern Greece.
